In a Jacketed Ball Valve design the jacket covers the body from one flange to the other flange from inside. The body is change by the adding oversize flanges. As example: 1″ x 2″ Jacketed Ball Valve has the nominal bore of 1″ (25mm) and the flange size is 2″(50mm), which allows sufficient space for bolting clearance.
